The good news is that, as a Royal Holiday Vacation Club member, you don’t have to put your travel plans on hold. Royal Holiday offers flexible options that can help you secure the holiday credits you need to make your next getaway a reality. Here’s how it works.
PURCHASING ADDITIONAL HOLIDAY CREDITS
If your current vacation credit balance isn’t enough for the trip you want to book, you may be eligible to purchase additional vacation credits. This option is available through the Royal Holiday website or by contacting one of our Holiday Advisors, allowing you to choose the most convenient method for you.
To qualify, your membership account must be up to date with all Royal Holiday Vacation Club’s obligations. Once eligible, you’ll have the option, but not the obligation to purchase additional credits whenever you need them.
HOW DO ADDITIONAL HOLIDAY CREDITS WORK?
One of the biggest advantages of your additional holiday credits is that they never expire. Once purchased, they’re added to your vacation credit account and remain available until you’re ready to use them, giving you complete flexibility without the pressure of a deadline.
Just keep in mind that these additional vacation credits are non-refundable and cannot be canceled once purchased, so it’s important to purchase only the amount you expect to use.
Each calendar year, members may purchase up to the same number of vacation credits they receive annually based on their membership level. Pricing is established by the managing company and may vary according to market conditions.
LEARN ALL ABOUT EARLY HOLIDAY CREDITS REDEMPTION
If purchasing additional credits isn’t the right solution, Royal Holiday also offers early redemption of vacation credits. This option allows eligible members to redeem vacation credits for a period of up to 15 years in advance.
The maximum number of credits that can be redeemed in a calendar year is based on the member’s admission level, with only up to 20% of those credits eligible to remain accumulated (excluding credits early redeemed during that same year). Early redemption credits are applied within the final year of your membership term.
It’s also important to have in mind that members who choose this option must pay the club’s annual fee for both the current year and each year from which vacation credits are early redeemed. Plan ahead and learn all about travelling seasons.
