The Reef National Park in Cozumel is the 2nd biggest coral reef in the world and it is considered one of the most beautiful. This coral reef is known as “The great coral reef belt” in the Occidental Atlantic, or as the “Great Mayan coral reef”.
This is a paradise for anyone who loves life under the water. The great biodiversity of flora and fauna in this destination is breathtaking. You will be able to swim with white and green hawksbill sea turtles, loggerhead sea turtles, starfish, sea urchins, and frogfish, a unique species of this island.

ARCHEOLOGICAL AREAS
Visit the ruins of San Gervasio and take a moment to appreciate Ixchel’s sanctuary, goddess of fertility, the moon, and medicine. A long time ago pilgrimages from the region visited this sanctuary to celebrate big parties where sorceress and doctors would offer their remedies. Another important site of the ruins is this small Caracol Grave (snail grave) or the Cedral, which combines Mayan ruins with a church.
